Getting the Right Body
Express Cutaway Vans are available in three wheelbases to handle “hi-cube” type bodies up to 4.9m (16 ft.) in length. Body and payload weights up to about 3253 kg can be accommodated. Special attention should be given to weight distribution and road clearance at the rear of the vehicle to prevent dragging when negotiating inclines. The experience of a reputable body builder should be solicited. Major body builders stock GM chassis and can usually have you in business in a new Express Cutaway with a body built to your specifications in short order.
